second db memberimport

After reading all advantages and disadvantages í've decided to try a clean vb 3 beta 7 install on a second db entry that is made by our provider. Our actual forum is drained with hacks and is a 2.2.6 version.

I realize that even with araxis merge it would be nearly impossible to keep some of the hacks, but how about the members? When vb 3 final is released i want to upgrade and modify it on the clean install on db2. When this is done is it possible to import the memberlist from db1 to db2?
