Dont know what I am doing. php
 
I am trying to install some hacks but I cant find the php files. For example how do I get to forumdisplay.php? or showthread.php?

These are found to whereever you uploaded them to. Look in the directory you uploaded the vB files into.

Can you be a little more specific? I have no idea were they are uploaded. The forum was professionally setup and I am still learning this stuff. Thanks

on your server, when you unpacked and installed vBulletin it came with these files

in your forum root you will find the above files

You will need use an FTP client to connect to your website root on your host's server. You'll also need to know the FTP address, username and password to login to your site. Once you're connected, look for your forums folder (probably named "forums").. Inside this folder you will find the files. Download them to your computer, make a backup, do the modifications, then upload the modified files.

I use WS_FTP Pro but there are many free ones that work just as well.

If you still don't understand what we're talking about or if you can't figure out how to use the FTP client just contact your host and he'll explain everything.

Thank you everyone, I found what I was looking for.

I tried to do the roll over forum description but couldnt get it to work. Does anyone have a link on how to install the roll over forum des. like the one this forum has? I would like to do one just like it. Thanks
