Well.... what can I say about the game that is FREE and made by the U.S. Army.....well one word should do it......

WOW!

This is probably the best game i have ever played(next to every final fantasy game).


Anyone else play it? If so drop me a line we might be able to play together sometime :D

AA: nah never played it, i don't like these kind of games.

I played this about a year ago when it was first released. Not bad for a free game.

I just hope people don't actually recruit for the army after playing this game. :^/

Ahh i need to get this - I remember seeing it about a year ago but i'm on 56k and gave it a miss :(

Tactical Ops > America's Army

They make the money off of people getting servers, thats why it's free. They have to host your server and its 4 dollars per player.

Desert Combat is also a free game, well more considered a mod as you need Battle Field 1942. But for any who have BF1492 thats a definate mod to check out.

So months later, is this still a good game? Thinking of downloading it. :)

from everything i hear, it's much improved..

also, since folks are talking free games, Enemy Territory is free.. it's a mod off of Return to Castle Wolfenstien.. stand-alone mod, i mean..

be glad when they get broadband to my area.. living in the swamp, it's hard to get anything waterproof..
