Can a Noob upgrade to VB3 from vb2?

I'm fairly new to all this stuff, I can use the user end very well, but installing it is new to me.
Whats your opinions about if someone new like myself can upgrade it? or should I just wait till I can get someone else to do it?

I would still like to learn though.

you should backup files, via ftp and your db via SSH

id suggest looking at vb.com's moving servers section

Or use phpmyadmin or the built in bakup system in vb.

But neither of thoes will be able to restore the db unless you have under like 1mb or somthing
