Restricting Newbies from posting in certain forums

Okay for the regular chain of a registered user, I would like to restrict Newbies from posting in my Kill Stories forum. That forum is not for the weak and most newbies that come and post their first end up leaving my site due to getting flamed and getting a mad impression of the site. So I want to restrict the newbie from posting their until he reaches the next level on the ladder of posts. This way he is familiar with the site and members and doesnt feel attacked if posting in that forum.

How do I do this? I have a feeling is a custom hack to a template.

Try this hack here, Allows you to assign an amount of posts needed before a user can post in a certain forum

FYI that's for threads, not for posting:)_

Yeah but he said he doesnt want newbies to post in a certain forum and that hack stops people who are under a certain amount of posts to make a new thread. Also the guy who made that hack has the same one but for replying to threads which i think the link is in his sig.

Isnt that basically what he asked for though?

Well arracing didn't mention about creating new threads, just posting.

Yeah true but making a new thread is pretty much the same as posting :p and as i said the guy has a link in his signature (i think) to the same hack but too restrict making replys. So he has a choice of both :p
