Max Online User:

That's all i really want to compare with... feel free to post total posts/threads etc...

thanx in advance...

Just want a litmus test on where I am in the market...

here are my numbers...

Max ONline users: 190 (october2k3)
Monthly Banner rate: $180 usd

I don't charge much. I'm not really in it to make money, my site was ad-free for almost 2 years and our hosting is cheap so this is just a way to make a little back.

According to my server stats we're serving between 80,000 and 110,000 pages per day (though I'm only serving about 12,000 ads per day). Anyway, I charge between 28 and 40 cents CPM depending on how long an advertiser has been with me.

I can make more than that using FastClick but it's nice to help out people with similar interests and it allows me to show some ads that may actually appeal to my visitors.

Man, no wonder I'm not making any money on my site: http://www.rctech.net

I am charging all of $20/month for a banner. Close to 10,000 members, 1,500 posts a day, just about 100,000 total banner exposures a day. Oh yea, and about 180-220 concurrent online users each night, maintained for about 6-8 hours.

I have wanted to raise my rate for a long time but have been somewhat afraid to do it for fear of losing advertisers. On the other hand, my site is targeted directly at a consumer-heavy audience, and at least 3 or 4 different stores/companies have sprung up and survived as a result of my site. heh
