Mod/Member problem...any suggestions?
Hi. I have a long time mod and a long time member that are very liked by the rest of my board; however, for whatever reason, the two don't get along. I don't want to ban or take away his mod privelages, I'm wondering if anyone can suggest a way to deal with it. The member can't "ignore" the mod because he's a mod, and the mod (I don't believe anyway) can't "ignore" the member because he's a mod. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated, or if there's some type of hack that could help me, or anything I could do. Thank you.

tell your mod(s) to be good to your members .. simple as that.
if you are a mod that doesn't get a long with my members you simply aren't going to be a mod.. a mod should set an example for the site, and members are what makes the site. you can start by telling the mod to get along with others or they'll loose their mod rights.. that will work for sure :) |
It should be a privilge to be on the staff. If one of my staff starts a dispute with a member I tell them to be the better man/woman and let it go and don't get involved in any childish disputes. If they carry on then I drop them :)

yep gotta agree, if you're mod can't act like a member of staff, just drop him, it will humble him :)

As far as I am aware, moderators can ignore members;)
