just a thought to keep random ppl from asking us to download hacks for them... and some of the newer vB ppl might do it as there new to the system...

Hmm, i don't see the effect of this.
Can you please be more specific in which way this should prevent users from aking you to dl hacks?

I mean, pm'ing is disabled for unlicensed users...

i dont mind users contacting me for support via aim and msn and other such messagin programs, but todays about the 20th or so time ive had an unliscened person contact me via aim asking to download hacks for them.

user profiles containt email and IM program's contact info..

hmm, emails aren't visible for unlicensed ones.

but i'll look into it, maybe i find an easy way to come up with several things i have to do, to get the old status again ;)

I agree with Faranth. Sometimes users add their contact information into their Biography - It would be a good move to stop unlicenced users to view profiles;)

ok, i added a yes no code to the option page and use an if condition in the memberinfo template.

i think it's ok for now, i'll work on it neve the less in the future :)

i also thing that this would be a good thing to add (for the record :))

I do the same on the private forums to disable profiles for Google, for members who want to keep their profile off Google. :)
