VB2.3.2 - Is there a subscriptions hack?

I haven't had any luck finding a subscriptions hack for vb2.3.2, we all know that 3.x has it built in, but is there a hack just like the one for vb3.x for vb2.3.2? If so please post a link, if not, is anyone willing to help me, or indipendantly make one?

There are no subscriptions hacks available here at this time :)

Anyone up to converting the v3 version to v2.3.2 for us v2.3.2 users?

Once I have a little more vbulletin experience, I shouldn't have a problem doing this on my own, but im not as l337 as most of you guys.. lol

It is not possible to create a magic "paid membership" hack as every admin will be after a different feature in this hack. The requests for privileges the hack will grant to the paid users will be different for different admins and more importantly the transaction server that is processing your payment (paypal, authorize.net, 2checkout.com etc.) will be different which would change the entire code of the hack for every admin.

...... Could have more than one module (have the ability to select multipule modules via ACP).

For it to be accepted by all admins, the only way to solve that is to do what any admin would expect.

- Additional controls per usergroup. (ex: if your normal or "free" members do not have access to a certain area of the site, but when they become a subscribing member, they gain access to those areas. You could also allow the hack to control the amount of attachments the user can view, or post, or the amount of threads the user can start in a day, or week, or month, so on..

To complete complete admin satisfaction, having additional hacks tied on to the main hack "subscriptions hack", such as "Hive Mail Integration, and there is another vb mail program that it would be nice to write an "addon" for. This would be so if the user registers, and the admin wants to give subscribers their own email address, the option will become availible to the admin. When the member signs up, he or she would enter a desired email address and click on "Check availibility".. The check availibility button would return a status message "Email address is availible" or "email address is taken, please choose another one". When the user changes his or her VBULLETIN login password, it would also change his or her email password. The avilibility check would be super easy to do, just have it read from the user table in the hivemail or vbmail database.

When the users subscription is up, it should have the ability to send an auto notification X amount of days or weeks (admin configurable) to remind them to renew their subscription. They should be able to subscribe by any admin settable amount of time (ex: month, year, ect..).

There should also be an addon to the program so if the user isnt a subscriber, he or she cannot view a non vb page, but only an addon.

The main feature that 90% of admins would want would be the access ability (sections of forum/site). So for instance.. I run a buy/sell/trade section for paintball equipment/markers, and I should be able to set if a normal member (the usergroup people are in when they first join the community) is able to start threads, reply, ect in that section... Then once he or she has became a subscriber, it would automatically let them view, or post in that section. Doing this, it would also need to have two additonal templates added so when the user trys to make a post
it says "Were sorry, only subscribers are allowed to start threads in this section, we have very acceptable subscription rates, to subscribe, click here!

Get what im saying Logician? All admins could enable the part of the system they want to use, or just simply have the extra stuff like the hivemail and vbmail as addons, for people to download.

Knowing that this is going to make admins money, although it prolly wont go in their own pockets (I know mine wont).. Admins may be willing to pay for this system. I am 17 years old, but my primary job/responcibility right now in life is to promote the sport of paintball in any way I possibly can. I found it most-benificial to do it via vBulletin, my site is www.paintballmessage.com.

Please let me know what you think after reading what I have just said :)

Yeah it could have all these add-ons and features and sections. The question is with all its complexity and depth, why would anyone put way a lot of efforts on it and release it here for free? :)

Please notice that all hacks released here are FREE so the most of them are released here because someone codes it according to his own board's needs and then since it is already coded, share it here as well in case it helps others.
This scheme just not work out in the paid membership hacks or some similiar custom integration projects. Someone can still share the hack he coded for his own board but it will be useless to many as other people would want to integrate into different transaction servers or want the hack work in a different way. And the ultimate hack that will involve all you mentioned features would likely to be not free unless it is coded by a Saint. :)

NoChex is apparently becoming big - you might want to look into that :)

I would be willing to set aside a few hours a day to help out whoever takes this on.... And, I know coming up with some money shouldn't be a problem, if thats what it will take... Im sure other admins will chip in too eh?
