Posting Options by age
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...3&page=1&pp=15
and https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...0&page=1&pp=15 I have those two hacks installed, and what I'm trying to do is this. In admin CP, making a new forum (or edit *shrugs*), under Posting Options, right underneat "Private forum", I wanted an option saying: "Pirvate forum II (or something like that)" (Invisible to all except "insert age here"+ users; user access masks must be on!) I wanted it set to age 18, but with a DB Query I assume it could easily be changed. Case and point: I wanted a forum to show up or hide depending on age. Granted I am aware that a user could change his/her age at any time. But 1)when a user registers he/she won't be able to see that forum. 2)When a user under the specified age is an active member, he/she won't be able to see it. 3)There for they wouldn't know it's based on age, unless someone spills the beans. Can someone please help me create such a hack? I tried myself, but I still don't know much about PHP. :( Many thanks in advance! |

OOookay... yet I don't use Vb3, nor do I want to until it's fully stable.
Thanks for trying to help though. ^^; |

Can someone please help me create this? I need it. :(

the best thing you could do is make a second usergroup and move members you know to be 18 or older, as anyone can fake their age
