Glowing User Names
I know that there are several hacks around for glowing user names but I could not find one that fitted my requirments which was all users had no glow unless selected.
Here is a very quick and easy to install hack that I knocked up this morning. Tested on vBulletin 2.3.0. To install, this requires one file and one template edit, along with a custom profile field. To use, users simply set the colour they require in their profile. Please click "Install" if you use this. |
Nice hack but this defeats the purpouse of the store hack :p

Shiggity.
PRECISELY what I have been looking for! All other glow hacks gave the average joe a red glow by default, but not now. I want the glow all to my own. You know how it is. ;) Thank you much, man. I've clicked that Install button for ya. |
great hack. how can i let the usernames in the "Users Online" glow also?!
|
Really cool hack, my users love it. :)
I do have a problem with one user who sees everything distorted where the name is glowing. The only thing I've been able to find is that she's on a Macintosh. Is it possible it's the problem and if so is there a way around this? It does it in all the style sets I have. |
