Ok you know how in vb3 and phpbb right after you click the tread then the little new post thing goes away next to the thread well on vb2 it doesnt do that i know its not just me who wish's it was like vb3

Ok Here ill post a example picture cause when you click the thread that icon doesnt go away for like 5 min. on vb2 but on vb3 right after you click it and go back to that forum its gone cause you already viewed it SEEE!!!

It is not easy to do. The first solution pops up is to log thread view of all members (otherwise how can you know if X read thread Y or not) and this log file will be so huge that it will eat up your server space very soon..

Vb3 should be using another algorithm and I don't know what it is.
