remove [IMG] tags automatically when quoting

Can someone do a hack or is there a way to auto remove [IMG] tags when quoting images? I dont want all that un-necessary space taken up when quoting images. And could the hack include maybe auto removal of all existing [IMG] tags in all quoted posts?

Oh and also could the person who does this hack make it work with QuickQuoteII? Thanks.

it's really easy to do it yourself:

open newreply.php
find:

and below add:

That didnt seem to work.... it still has the img tags in the reply :ermm:

Are you sure it works with quick quote too?

as i haven't installed quickquote i cannot answer that question.
maybe you have to add this line to another point, too for quickquote

at least it should work for normal quotes, as it's the same replacement as the quote replacement
