Well I finally did it...
 

I upgraded to 2.3.2. It was pretty painless. :)

I had 2.3.0, but I had really added a bunch of hacks.

I only had to deal with one template after the upgrade and I didn't add as many hacks this time.

I'd upgrade to vb3 but I dont wanna lose the arcade or my postbit or anything :cry:

The postbit is just a template - You could port it over;)

And the arcade is hardly the most focal point to loose - I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to port, however I do not have the time to investigate that claim...;)

You're right, it wouldn't be too hard but investigation is required to see what things need to be changed (there's a lot of code too!) and also, the AdminCP side of it would need a revamp no doubt.
