New User Welcome email? W/ login info
 
Once a person registers... without the "EMAIL VALIDATION" option set on... is there a hack so the new user gets an email with their username and password info?

I guess it would be like a welcome email...

Thanx in advance...

p.s. I've searched for this request and had no luck... i saw the PM and auto thread for new users...

i have just written a quick email to new members at this post:

I dont think you can send the password to users, as it is encrypted when they register. You could send them their username though.
