[FIXED] private messaging
theirs no reply button on a private messages, only quote.
|
as vb3 uses the same button for reply and reply/w quote it's obviously the same.
but you can click on it ;) |
it don't even say reply with quote, theirs nothing saying REPLY in it on the page, and btw the forward button is a link. anyway just thought i'd let you know, i've found it confusing both times i've gone in there :(
|
the forward button is a link?
hmm, maybe it'S because it's a textlink in vb3beta? i'll answer with vb.com standart answer for such things: "Style not final" ^^ |
actually it's using the postbit template for showthread, so you have two possibilities:
pm button -> send a new pm quote button -> send a reply where the original msg is quoted i think that's ok then. |
what a horrible backwards method, i hope they fix that in the final, they need to stop being lazy and makes it's own buttons
|
well, personally i think it's better than before.
you just have to edit one template instead of 3 as it was in vb2 as for button changes, conditional can help in final versions :) |
vb devs must be lazy, this is the first thing i noticed, both showthread and private messages use the same template.. quite annoying when you want to have different things and it effects both postbit and private message bits.

Fixed it with conditionals. :) Obviously a small normal reply button is preferable. But I don't have the PSDs to make it for each style, so I'm using the normal REPLY ones. ;)
