i was only gonna tell him that the portal he wanted was not vbportal but myvbindex
and that the java chat thing was only about 5 mins install.

But thats besides point why are we not allowed anyway and who says who can reply in there and who cant ?

People can always use Hack Requests forum if they want to hear suggestions and discuss the hack. If they posted in Service Request, this indicates their will to get "Professional Service" and thus there is no need for "free amateur advice" in the thread any more. Because even for very simple hacks and solutions a member might be after a professional service say because he has a professional board with no tolerance to downtime.

But members are welcomed to provide "free support" to such requests via email or PM. :)

If we allow the discussions there, it might be abused by advertisement posts or show offs in the thread.
