columns w/picture?

I used to be a member of this site a long time ago that shut down, I am really bad at explaining how or what they did, but the image provided can show you what I mean, the site has long sence shut down, but I was wondering if anyone can help me achive the same goal. Thanks.

Hey assassingod, I see what your talking about but with the columns hack it asks for this

and it wants me to find it in index.php I am running vB2.3.2 and I see nothing like this at all, anyone have an idea?

thanks! i found it, but now 1 last question if you dont mind? .. where do you activate the actiaul coulms (I got the hack installed) but cant find where to like change it in edit a forum or whatever.
