These guys have been on my forum all day as "Gigabot/1.0".

I get the feeling they are gonna go head to head with google.

Anyone got any info on this?

I don't think any new site could possibly successfully compete with Google. Sites like Yahoo possibly because they have a massive standing already, but Google is now the definitive search engine.

I'd have to agree about google being the best. But I guess I'll take any index listing I can get.

Giggablast as some awesome technology and coding behind it, said to be much better coded then googles back end. I know the owner was offered a few million for the technology by an un-named source (ahem, M$?), but he decided not to sell...

Maybe he is holding out for a few more mil... ;)
