Is this a Hack? or a gallery script!

in linuxcult.com I found a good gallery program, but I'm wondering what does they use !

If you will say it is PhotoPost ... see the links ... entry.show.php, entry.newedit.php, gallery.index.php!

Looks like the script ravio made for yaxay. Since linuxcult's design is by ravio it looks like they had them make one. ItÂ’s a very nice gallery system.

I had contacted ravio about having them make one for me since it also has an option for a file gallery with pictures but they never responded. *shrug*

ravio did not make the script for yaxay. Our admin here made it custom for them.

That script at LinuxCult I have no idea...

ahhh! he should think about selling it. I would be interested in something like that for my eq skin/interface site.

No you don't =P I don't know about the one Carlos now has on linuxcult, but the one on yaxay has alot of issues.

Its not overly bad, but I think it needs alot of work. People can submit invalid files all the time causing broken images. People seem to have issues with editing their image and reuploading it. Andmaybe just because people are retards they keep submitting to the wrong category and as a admin you can't just switch it you have to delete it and them repost it. There's nothing set up so you can see all the gallery posts done by a single user.

Obviously all these issues could be taken care of with a little coding, but they should have never been there in the first place. I'm really trying to get out admins to opt out for photopost because I think the features are far better for both mods and users. But perhaps who ever coded our gallery has a better version by now.

And seeing how Carlos was the admin at the time the gallery was added you can probably bet he is using the same code over at his linuxcult site.
