how does the chat work?
 

i found the program, but i have no real clue to as how you guys made it pickup the usernames :\

When you say you found the program, I'm assuming you mean mIRC? Or that java applet thingy.

/nick <username>

For change of nick.

At the bottom of this list is a mIRC-specific reference of commands. For server-specific, you'll have to ask somebody there. (such as registering your nick)

In the applet code, you can add a line to make it pick up the nick from $bbuserinfo[username] - you'll work it out. :)
