email verification expire then delete
 

Is there a hack/addon for the forum that puts a option or adds to the forum a expiration time on new register'd accounts when verify email option is enabled, and if the email account is not verified in a certain amount of time, the account is automatically deleted and/or placed into a list to where the account(s) can be viewd by a admin and MASS deleted/dropped off the forum user list.

There is a "waiting for users" portion of registration/groups, and when there is like 200 people in there that haven't verified their email, kinda redicoulous to delete each one of them and this kind of hack would make it much easier on the services of the board.

i've already got that installed logician, what i'm looking for is a script that will check current registered users and every 6 months since there registration email them and ask for to verify there email address, if they haven't after XX days then it will change their user group to 'currently awaiting authorisation' at which point i guess amy's hack would kick in and then they'd be deleted if they still didn't.

thought this would've been an easy hack :dunno:

any1 do it yet???
