Is this vB skin worth getting?
 

Is this vBulletin skin worth purchasing? I saw it and it really would make my site more appealing.

I say no :). Although they do nice work why have a site like everyone else?

Paying $30 + to have what the guy next door does makes little sence.

Well I really cant find any other skins that are appealing.... but I think I have a friend who could make something similar to it for free :p

I don't get it about Corey Wojen's stuff really. I mean, sure, I am willing to admit he does nice work. However, I think it has more to do with his somewhat creative arrangement/layout of his designs than with the shading, bevels, gradients, etc. I haven't had a hard time copying his techniques perfectly without ripping!

Also, I wouldnt try buying anything from vBSkins, recently they haven't been around to give people their skins. So people have paid and not gotten what they want.

They all went on vacation? lol.

I personally just would not buy a style I see tons of forums with. Although mine is not the best it is one of a kind.

I am in no way downing skin creators/sellers just I think any who have any talent/or a friend with talent. Should make their own and give it their own look.

wait for inside the pixel to launch, xelation does some great work.

i like corey's work, but find it very repetative, i guess that'll happen to some folk tho'
