changing folder

You know how you can change the location of ur images folder in the admin cp? Is there a way for me to set up another folder where I can constantly change it's location without going through every link and manually changing it too? ie- the one now is images, is there a way to set up another one called "videos folder" and be able to put {videosfolder} in the templates .. then just change the url from the admin cp whenever I want,

well, not necisarrily the admin cp, but any convenient way of changing it.

Have you tried using the replacements?

Dribbles 08-08-2003 02:39 AM

via admin cp/style/modify/[fonts/colors/etc]/ you can change it under title "Image folder path"

Dribbles already knows how to do that, if I interpreted the post correctly.

correct, Gary W :)

Then I must say I am lost.. :knockedout:

When you change the image path in styles menu, all images compiled from to the new location automatically without any need to edit templates or do anything else.

How is it easier to go edit a replacement in your admin cp, than go edit your image path?

This thread has nothing to do with my images folder. I think I was unclear. I want to set up ANOTHER/EXTRA folder that I can change it's location in the same way the images folder can be changed in admincp
