X-Box!
 

I just got an X-Box...and will get to play with it tonight. Also got Halo and a demo DVD of Ghost Recon. I am now one of the many ;)

And I paid with my PayPal debit card...:D

Heh.. I finished Halo last week.
It's a great game. I'm not a big FPS fan, but damn.. :)

My brother is currently playing through Legendary mode, and that looks to be near impossible.

Not bad.

On the bad side of them they are just PC's really. but on the good side, the games are amazing.

Halo is a great game, expecially to play online, enjoy! dont expect to see you much around here.

Bah, Ps2 has much better games.

Well the thing is my PC right now (P3-933 with 512 MB and a GF3) does crappy in games. The only way I can make it do better is get a new graphics card, but then the processor would be the cap so it wouldn't help much. I'd have to overhaul the entire thing to get it up to spec. So a $180 XBox was the way to go ;)

Do you have a Playstation 2?

GameCube > PS2 > x-Box

LOL, you got the order way wrong, at least in order of hardware:

X-Box > PS2 (although I hate Sony for many reasons) > Gamecube

Gamecube is cool, though, but Halo is good so therefore an X-Box is, too. Halo with linked X-Boxes in the same room with two TVs is great...I did that once with a four-player vs. four-player CTF match :D

If you'd take the time out to analyze the good games on each console you can clearly see Playstation come out on top. I'm in no way a PS2-only fan, but I chose to go with that console as it has many great games on it.

As for GameCube, I'm glad to see it's getting better but personally in my opinion the games aren't up to the level of the likes of PS2 and Xbox (some of the games).
