User mass registration

I am searching for a hack, which makes it possible to make a mass registration into a VBB. The background: We are using an installation of VBB as an internal FAQ, in which we need to insert over 2.000 users. They are participants of a seminar and need to access the VBB as another part of their participation.

I searched the database, but didn't find anything. Or maybe I have overseen it. Can anyone help?

What exactly do you want the hack to do?

Allow an administrator to add 2,000 users to the vBulletin? But what perimeters would be required? Usernames? So then the administrator would need to type in 2,000 separate usernames?

Please be a little more clear on your hack request.

Yes, the hack should enable the administrator to add 2.000 users or more at once. Usernames, Mailadresses and Passwords are to be in a CSV-file (excel-file), which we would generate automatically.

If this is too complicated, the hack could also do the following: Generate 2.000 (or more) new users with a name, given by the admin, starting at a given number, giving them a generic mail-adress with a given domain. (i.e.: user0001 - user2000 with user0001@domain.com - user2000@domain.com). But it should also end with a downloadable CSV-file, which contains username and password.

Of course we could sit down and insert 2.000 users by hand. But that's a bunch of work. And if could be easier... ;)

Yes, we made it for ourselves - and it works only for v. 2.2.x - I released it now here:
