conditional upgrades to vb3
 

i'm wondering if anyone is waiting for a particular hack to get released before they upgrade to vb3? if so what hack?

I re-wrote all the hacks I wanted for vB3, then wrote the hacks I needed for vB3, then upgraded :D

i upgrade a testforum, write the hacks i need and then upgrade my main board (vb.org ^^)

nothing specific really, myvbindex would be nice but otherwise its good :D

I've gone all the way and wrote my own custom hacks for what I need for my private vB3 forums. :) I found out that some hacks I used on vB2 had to be totally re-written because they had redundant queries and were not optimized.

I'm looking forward to this... I plan on porting all the hacks myself. :)

It's going to take me forever though! :o

I have to re-write some hacks but don't understand vB3 permissions at all. :(

I re-wrote nothing, just upgraded all my live boards to vB3, without thinking about anything at all and not turning back. I needed the efficiency I guess, and the change. I wanted to check out the AdminCP and use thousands of members as guinea pigs :D

I have a few hacks, but really I am waiting to see what happens with vB, what new features arise and what hacks are initially released:)
