I searched but can't find it. Is there a hack to show new posts in last 24 hours like vb3 has?

It's not a hack. It's a feature that is inbuilt into vB2 as well.

Use this link:

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/search.php?action=getdaily

Just add:

?action=getdaily

after search.php ;)
