Gallery that utilizes GD Libraries
 

My main concern is the thumbnail creation.

I've been searching for a while now for a gallery, but my server does not have image magick. And no way am I going to manually make thumbnails. I take about 300+ picture for every event I attend.

So as you can see, I'm in need for a nice picture gallery that can automatically make thumbnails using GS2 libraries. It's practical also since the new PHP versions have them built in. If anyone is up to the task, please help me out.

Some features I wish for this hack to have:

• Thumbnail quality and size setting configuration
• Categories (of course) and sub-categories
• Rebuild thumbnails
• Accessible to members only option
• Some kind of a mass submission feature. Perhaps, uploading all pics to a directory and have the gallery detect, thumbnail them, and place them in the specified category. I'm still a novice scripter so I don't know if this is a good method
• Organize the order of categories and galleries (just like how the forum topics can be organized)
• Comments and description
• Some kind of system to let only certain people submit (for now only mods and admins are fine).

That's it for now. I'm sure there are tons more ideas I can come up with. But this is what I would need. I know this is asking a lot, but I hope somebody is up for this. Thanks.
