How do I add extra buttons on the home page?

I would like to add a few extra buttons on the home page left of the user "cp one". What do I need to edit? Also how do I create default looking extra buttons?

open up your header template :)

And in regards to creating new buttons download the vbulletin 2 gfx kit from your members center :)
