Admin and Mod CP links in footer

This hack adds links to the admin and moderator control panels in the footer. The admin link will only show up to admins, and the moderator link to admins and supermods.

This hack has been tested in vBulletin version 2.2.6, 2.2.9, and 2.3.0 and should work on any 2.2.x

If you have any questions or comments, please post them in this thread.

If you use this hack, please click install.
Hope you enjoy :)

Nice idea, but couldn't you just add both links to the Admin Options dropdown? That's only viewable to staff too right?

Also, i don't think it would be that big of a deal if members could see them, so a template mod would be better IMO.

If you mean the admin options menu on forumdisplay, true it could go there. However, then you would only be able to see the link on those pages. This hack puts the link in the footer, so it will appear on almost every page of your forum.

If you mean the admin options on showthread, any registered user can see it.

It's much easier to do this without a hack. =]

This could be easily turned into a phpinclude edit. ;)

there is a template mod for this at vbulletin templates.com...

http://www.vbulletintemplates.com/mo...thread.php?t=8

I personally like the one at vbulletintempaltes.com better because its more customizable if wanted to customize it.. you can just go into the phpinclude... instead of going into the files every time

I've already had something like this installed on my forum, but good job anyway...
