Unfair and uncalled for.....
 

Ok I was generous enough to spend $160 of my hard earned money to buy vBulletin for this one admin that I *thought* I knew and could trust but I guess I was wrong. Everything was going good for 3 months now but all of a sudden all of the users turn on me and start making vicious accusations left and right about false things that I have never in my life heard of before.

Then tonight I get IP banned by the administrator because he obviously doesnt want me causing trouble for his precious members which I did NOT do in the first place. Why me god, why?

Is there anything I can do about this? Its not fair that the administrator banned my IP address after I paid for the vBulletin license for his precious forum! I never broke any forum rules!

Change the licence url to either a bogus one, or setup your own vBulletin and change it to that - Then report the url of the previous board as Piracy;)

if you have direct access to the db, you can do a big drop before ;)

And if you have FTP access, replace all the images with ones saying stuff like:

*theotheradminsname here* is an idiot

He came into IRC, I had the exact same idea as Chris. Great minds think alike :D.

He bought vB and the other guy paid for hosting... They only gave him moderator access, and that's all he had for access to the server.

Anyway, trafix told him on IRC, Chris told him here, I said it before I realized others had suggested it, so I think he has it covered.

with direct ftp you should also delete the vb files at all then :)

reporting him to his ISP is also a nice method ;)

He could sue them for theft

Just do as much damage as you can - Report him to vB for Piracy after changing the url, damage any vBulletin files or tables you can, report him to his ISP, report him to his host etc;)
