Using conditionals with userfields and templates
I am trying to familiarize myself with vB3's great new features and maybe someone could help my out as I am very confident what I am trying to do could be accomplished through simple tweaks without any modifications to the vB source code itself.
I run an automotive forums website and it would be great if the users could enter their vehicle information as part of their profile. The fields would be: Vehicle Year (such as 2003) Vehicle Make (such as Nissan) Vehicle Model (such as 350Z) Vehicle Trim (such Touring) However, quite a number of users have more than one vehicle. During the registration/profile modification process I would like to have a field that asks users how many vehicles they own and then the above fields will show up for the number of vehicles they have so they can fill out all 4 fields above for each of their vehicles. So if I put down that I have 3 cars, as soon as I change the option to "3" from a dropdown the above fields will show up on the page 3 times. Is this feasible in vB3? |
