bbtag button error - need help
 

I just hacked my version of vb 2.3.0 ... and after finishing with it I realized something ...

The IE returns errors on newreply, editpost etc - all sites that have the bbcode tag buttons on them. They dont work in "Normal Mode" and only a few do in "Enhanced Mode" (url, img, list dont work AT ALL).
At first only a syntax error gets shown ... (line 2 sign 1 code 0) - then when I hover over any button or click them - IE shows an error and looking at it it tells me that the respective bbtag isnt defined.
I checked all files and templates heaps of times - and they point to the direct files - still it seems as if the javascript code for the tag buttons isnt recognized at all.

Get More Smilies works fine however ...

I did install vbcode enhancement before realizing this - however after completely reverting the changes the error persists and the buttons still dont work.

Can some please help me fix this? I dont want to install everything again :tired: I really need a hand troubleshooting here. Help would be majorly appreciated.

I'm bumping this to the top because I'm helping out a friend's site that is having the exact same problem. Anyone have any ideas out there?
