Is there a hack that would make a guest register after X views?

We're getting OVERLOADED on my site with guests and would like to turn them into members. I was wondering if anyone made a hack like this?

There are a couple hacks that will give guests a popup to persuade them to register, I can't remember who did it, but try searching and you'll find it.:)

Yes, there is one that requires users to register after X views. However, don't forget search engines. They are guests too. Do you really want to shut them out?
