Date/Time Stamp Prollem

Basically my host can't get my date/time correct on mySQL...I had them attempt it and it got messed up...

now all my posts are ahead almost a day...so when someone posts now...its 20 hours behind should I just close and wait till everything catches up 20 hours or is there an easier way to modify the posting time without changing the date/time stamps

or did i just confuse anyone willing to help...lol

Goto admincp and set the board time to -6. Or what ever setting works.
