VBulletin Integration Question please look!
Hey guys, I have a site with VBulletin on it for the forum part, but I want to use it for the main site sort of.
Let me try to explain this.. Check out http://www.dtmpower.net/reviews.php I want something similar to that, but instead of the alphabet stuff I want to have different categories (Suspension, Exhaust, Rotary, etc..) I like how you can post comments and stuff too... And it would be nice if there was just an admin panel so that I can add things from there and they will show up on the main site.. So, is this a hack, or is it some custom job? Anyone know how to do it? Thanks a lot :) |
have a look at http://www.vbportal.com/

Thanks, Stu.
I've seen VBPortal before and I don't really like it because I don't want my whole site to revolve around the forum.... I just want that one thing. However the Review thing looks allright, except I can't see ANY screenshots of how it would look on the actual site (not the admin panel). BTW, if it matters, I won't actually be posting reviews in this, I will be posting just general articles about different stuff.... |

If you do a search of the hacks here, there are several that will do this for you. like https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...ight=Pluh+news |
There was an Articles Database released here by Cinq. Check his profile to find it.

Now I know I posted this...
Aren't there any OTHER review/ratings software packages besides Review Post? They don't respond to their presales questions, they don't provide screenshots or any working examples of their software other than their own site... I want to do a similar kind of thing, and I'm not comfortable spending money on a PHP product site-unseen, and questions unanswered. |
Incursio's Censura would fit your needs.
http://www.incursio.com In no way affiliated to them , just a satisfied customer of theirs who purchased this software a couple of days ago. Support is top notch ( had teething problems which were solved very fast , thanks to Scott ) , not that many demo sites featured as yet though, but you get a rough idea from those as well as the comprehensive user manual/documentation on the site. Check it out :) |
