My vBulletin Version 1.1.3 is already running for the public, and the Messaging (PM) Hack, v 1.2.0 is not installed yet. if I follow the instructin in "(first-time-install)"Notepad" , will it affect the registered members?
or the function of the Database?

please advice me for better solution?

Upgrade to 1.1.4 - there are security fixes and optimizations galore.

As for your questions, what? What exactly does "affect the registered members" or "function of the database" mean? The old users get PMs fine and your vB will still work.
