Deliver feed to another site?

Well, someone asked for it, though I don't know if it's even possible, or what to search for. His question:

"do you know of a good way to grab a feed of the newest posts from [your forum]? Just a title, and number of replies that links back to the site."

I'm not sure about the delivery of this, however if it can't be done, the only other thing I can think of is to check out some of the hacks and use one that would make what he's asking for on a non-vB page on my site and then he could iframe it. I don't think this is particularly what either of us want.

Any ideas?

There is an XML hack released here a long while back. Search for it.

Thanks Erwin. I don't know much about XML and delivering feed to a site in any regard, so this should be interesting :D

Errrr... is this the one you're talking about?

"This hack presents to the user a list of news headlines from many news sources on the Internet. All newsfeeds are pulled through Moreover.com."

I'm not looking for news feeds, I'm trying to supply news feeds from my forum ("newest posts from [your forum]? Just a title, and number of replies that links back to the site") to someone else's site.

Erwin, I found what I think you're talking about. Will try it and see if it works. Thanks for the help (again).

Glad to hear you found it. No, it's not the moreover one. :)

Pollo - I'd be interested in where you found it and if it works :).

I too am just looking for a simple RSS feed that will allow me to choose the forum(s) I want to feed from. I saw the RDF thing, but that requires rewrite, which I can't do, since I'm not running Apache. Is there one available that does this, without requiring mod_rewrite?
