Changing the order of the Date....

Hey! I've installed '[vB v2.2.9] Who was online today [available in english & german]' and the date is shown in Americian time. I've checked the template to see if i could easily switch the month and the day around, but all i see is '$todayrecorddate'. Is it possiable for someone to show me how i can change this round?
