chron jobs

hi i got the sig stats thing installed and it works fine, but, when i run the cron jobs from my cpanel it is not running the php every so many minutes as it should, can some1 explaint o me how to do it exactly.

That also means the script itself is dying because it doesn't have permission to do whatever it's supposed to be doing. |
woops i guess i forgot to chmod it, i put it to 777, it should work now?

Try logging out and then viewing the page as a guest, and you'll see what I mean.
Keep in mind I haven't personally used his hack (I'm using my own), but I'm making some assumptions. Have you searched the hack thread to see if anybody else has had your problem? |

You can't cron the script itself because PHP isn't a shell scripting language. Ask your host how you can cron PHP scripts via the php executable.
