upgrading forum help...
 

ok, this forum i wanna update has alot of errors on it somewhere and i cant find the problems....

if i install a fresh copy of the forum, what items in the DB should i save to bring over to the new forum?

normally it should be enough to just overwrite the files, there is normally no need to redo the whol DB structure, too

ok...so i upload all the files to the site, overwriting the exisitng, and run the upgradexx.php files right?

i actually want to install a fresh copy of the forum, but i do not want to loose the post/members and all the info that goes with it....but i am not sure which db items i need to copy over to a new DB....

erm sorry, but it's impossible to loose nothing and do a fresh install.
you can either loose something or don't do a fresh install.
