Adding custom fields to memberlist.php
I would like to have a "second" memberlist that only displays results from custom fields in the user profile, and be able to sort them as well. What I want to do is edit memberlist.php and name it something else so that the original still functions as normal.
What code(s) do I need to use to make a memberlist that uses custom fields- Do I need to create new template(s) for this to work? Any suggestions greatly appreciated..! |
Firefly released a hack that adds custom fields to the advanced Search page. Is that what you are looking for?

Hmmm.. Perhaps this would be close to what I want to do-
Let's say you have an automotive type website- And your users enter info like 1/4 mile ET and MPH in custom fields. Now say you want it so a user can view a sorted list of ET/MPH in order of quickest to slowest, and also have this info be "fresh" based on member's updating their profile as they improve. |
