Attachment from first post in threadview?
 

I'm trying to make a hack where the attachment from the first post of a thread is displayed in the thread view...

i.e I want this image : http://www.pcreview.co.uk/attachment.php?postid=3035

to be displayed next to the relevent title, here : http://www.pcreview.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?forumid=51

Any ideas?

still no luck... All I need is the ability to call the first post ID from a thread in the threads template :)

anyone? I am still stuck. I need the post ID of the first post in the specific thread shown in the "showthreads" template

I'm really desperate now - I've tried all I can think of. is there a PHP/SQL statement I can add into showthread.php which will allow me to get the postid of the first post in a thread?
