How do I fix the blah.com. problem?

I want it so that my forums will either 1.) not parse blah.com. with the period or not parse the url at all.

Is there a way to make it remove any "." that's right after the .com ?

This problem has been bugging for a LONG time and I was hoping somebody here would be able to help. Does anybody have any ideas or can give me some instructions on how to get my forums to quit doingt his?

Thanks a bunch.

This is a little off the topic but I like your forums specifically how you have a graphical representation for user the user group under the avatar as well as their forum status (ie online/offline)

Is that a hack? If so where can I get it please.

I simply created a new field for users. For users that I don't want it to say anything I leave it blank for users that are admins, mods, news posters, etc. I create a box that says admin, mod, etc. for them and I put the image link inside the profile field I created for them.

I don't know immediately, but you'll have to edit the regular expression in bbcodeparse2() or a child function it uses to automatically parse links (parseurl()?).
