Gossamer Forum import??
 

Is it possible to convert Gossamer Forum over to Vbulletin..Are there any plans for an import script....please say yes....

I dont know if there is such a script or not but if there is none, try to find a Gossamer -> Somethingelse import script and then use Somethingelse -> Vbulletin import script to achieve your goal.

For instance vbulletin has a phpbb -> vbulletin import script so if you find a Gossamer -> phpbb script (which you may try to look in phpbb site) you are all set..

Thanx Logician, but unfortunately there is not one scritp that import from gossamer :devious:
What i cant understand, is why gossamer can import from vbulletin and NOT vbulletin from gossamer. I'm still looking for a solution, but my shoot (by now) is do a manual move extracting data from one database to the other. Then i''ll send a mail to my users to get their new password.
I think that the forums and post cant be a big trouble to move from gossamer to vbulletin.
I anyone have a better idea (or hack :rolleyes: ) i'll be happy to read it.

Well... if Someone want give me a PAID solution to import from the gossamer board, just send me a email o PM.
