Who often finds themself in this condition..
 

I was reading an article from Sitepoint I've been meaning to read for sometime, a Q&A interview of Jelsoft's co-owner John Percival. The article is helluva old, dated back to 2002 February, so if you have read it, and feel tempted to shout "hey loser get with it!" I'll understand. :cry:

Anyway, I'd like to point out this from the article.....

That's exactly how I am! Does this mean I've got a good chance of finding some entrepreneurial software product to make huge bucks similar to as Jelsoft did? ;)

Probably not, but.. to the main question, how many of us find ourselves programming in this habit/environment?

I always have music on, and I only code after 9pm, and I code only until 4am, after that there's signs of birds and the sun and light and coding doesn't work then :p

I never notice CDs finishing because I have thousands of hours of music on my PC :p

yaeh, damn birds, the disturb us coders.....

I agree Xenon... thats why I have my a air rifle next to my desk... if something makes a noise I don't like I shoot before I think

I must have music, a drink (alchoholic is preferred:p) and Rich Tea biscuits:)

i sit all day... i hate those birds tho norm at that time i,ll be playing ofp or sitting in front of photoshop airbrushing..

i dont code often enuff but if im sitting working on a garphic or something i,ll site for an hour or 2 at a time put the playlist on shuffle repeat and once an hour take a break for 15 wtach some tv get a drink etc and go back to what im doing..

tho in saying that its norm every 2 hours if i get into something lol

I'm definitely like that a lot of the time :)
