Rant!

Im Tired of People Dissing XMB.
I mean it's a good piece of Free Software, Easy to customize and use !
Im Even Working on Coding A 'newer' Flatfile / Perl version
but people keep trashing the developers and Staff.

I mean I've been A Staff member of www.xmbforum.com for 2years almost.
and The In staff Fighting happened once , during Aplha 1 !

Has it been dissed here or at vb.com? If so, what do you expect? We're all vB lovers :p !

I actually think that if I couldn't have a vBulletin board that I would use an XMB board:)

I think that vB is the best, but XMB is a very good free software;)

And N9ne is right - We are all vB lovers foremost;)

Who's been dissing XMB?

Blindchild02 05-27-2003 01:38 AM

im not dissing XMB's, but theyre site sucks ass >_< lol i would think that they could get sum1 to make them a decent site, geez!

Please don't take the following post for anything. If you were to ask me anyone how can't spell someone or is to lazy to spell it out shouldn't be saying anything about a site being bad. :)

Other than that I think XMB is great software OpenBB used to be my favorite free board but then it kind of fell though the hole so no it is XMB but then again vBulletin is the best!

PS: There site isn't bad at least it is better than [link removed - it's a stupid swf that spawns and prevents the viewer from closing it - sorry, but taken out] .

Erwin 05-27-2003 02:43 AM

serge, I took out the link to the SWF that takes over the browser. I couldn't close it, and it was very annoying. :)

Serge 05-27-2003 06:58 PM

ah ok I viewed it in Mozilla so I guess it didn't work like it was supposed to.

I've been told that XMB has many security holes.
Whether or not this is true, I'm not sure. I believe that people should make their own minds up on forum softwares available anyway and only use other people's opinion as a guideline/suggestion.
