Blink Subforums on Forumhome
 

Maybe this is only an addon to this hack, but I think it would be a great addon then! :)
When there are a new post in the subforum, the text on the frontpage blink... ( the "Subforums": something )
Then it's easyer to see if there are any new posts!

impossible with this hack.

the advantage of my hack is, that it uses a chache to display the subforums, that's why no extra queries are needed.
if you want to show if there are new posts, you have to make it dynamical -> more queries.

there are other hacks for it which use queries for the subforums, you have to use such a hack and modifie it, but it's not good to waste queries for that .
