Hi vBulletin.org!

I would like to know if I can use the vBulletin with both, English and Japanese.

I would like to admin in english or even better german, but also allow users to post and of course read in japanese.

Is that possible?

the postinglanguage is not restricted, your members can even talk in klingon if they want to do so ^^

the boardlanmguage itself is written into the templates, and you cn have more than one templateset, so yes you can run your board on japanese, german and english :)

Clarification: most of what users see is template-driven. Admin stuff is hardcoded, mostly.

another question would be the writing on the buttons! Could it also be viewed in english or Japanese regarding to users settings???

If you're referring to the images then you'll have to download or make new ones. The Photoshop versions of them are included with vB.

neben den templates gibt es sogenate stylesets, die zeigen an welcher style auf welche bilder zugreift.
also wenn du 3 ordner hast einmal deutsch, einglisch und japanische buttons, dann gibts da keine probleme :)

Ja, die user haben nen dropdown, in dem die verschiedenen styles drinnenstehen.
nehmen wir an du hast 3 style mit zugeh?rigen buttons und die templates in den sprachen, dann kann sich jeder user die sprache aussuche oder zwischendurch wechseln.

F?r seine eigenen posts und die posts von anderen ists aber egal was f?r ne sprache er gew?hlt hat, er kann in allen lesen und schreiben
(bestes beispiel hier im thread) ;)
